DMACC Motorcycle Class is a safe and educational program that prepares students to become a licensed motorcyclist. Students are trained on the basics of motorcycle operation, safety, maintenance and repair. Instructors are certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) with up-to-date training materials from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

What do I need for DMACC Motorcycle Class?
To participate in DMACC Motorcycle Class, you will need a valid motorcycle permit or license issued by the DMV and appropriate riding attire. This includes a DOT approved helmet, eye protection, long pants, full-fingered gloves, over-the-ankle boots and other protective layers.
Does DMACC provide motorcycles for its classes?
No. Participants must bring their own motorcycles to class with full insurance coverage. However, the school can provide loaner bikes for those in need of one.
How long is the program?
The program consists of 15 hours of instruction split into three five hour courses that cover topics such as rider positioning, cornering, braking techniques and emergency swerving maneuvers.
