My Aim in Life – Essay Writing
Introduction: An aim or a goal drives us to work hard. Everyone should have an aim in life. A man without an aim is like a ship without a rudder. A man cannot succeed in life without it. A fixed aim helps a man to fulfill his dream.
My aim in life: Different persons have different aims in life. Some want to be high officials or scholars or poets etc. Someone wants to be a doctor or an engineer or a teacher. I am a student of class X. I have a definite aim. The aim is to become a doctor and serve the poor villagers. My father who is a doctor always inspires me to be a doctor like him.

Reasons for my choice: The reason for my so choice is that most of the people in our village are poor and illiterate. Good doctors are not available there. The villagers do not get help and advice from a good doctor. They suffer from many diseases and often die a premature death. Seeing their miseries, my heart is filled with profound grief. I want to serve them providing with proper treatment. Therefore, I have decided to be a doctor.
My preparation: Now I am the student of class ten. I am working hard so that I can get GPA-5 in S.S.C. After that, I shall get myself admitted to a good college. I hope that I will be able to get admitted to Govt College which is the best institution in our district. After completing my H.S.C with distinction I shall try my best to get myself admitted into a medical college. I am confident enough to qualify myself to pursue MBBS in a govt. medical college. I hope that I shall be able to complete my degree in medicine in due time.
My service: After completing my M.B.B.S, I shall back to my village and serve the villagers. I shall take no fee from the poor. If I can earn enough money, I shall set up a charitable dispensary in my village. Besides, I will try to make people aware of hygiene and cleanliness. Then they will be able to get rid of many diseases. I will devote myself to their service.
Conclusion: Success in life depends largely upon the right choice of profession. So at the time of making such a choice, we should think about our liking and abilities and also the desire to do something for humanity. I hope my sweet dreams to serve people will be fulfilled.
