Mujib Borsho (মুজিব বর্ষ) Paragraph Writing
Mujib Borsho (মুজিব বর্ষ) is the period of time from 17th March 2020 to 17th March 2021. The Government of Bangladesh announced Mujib Borsho in order to celebrate the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the year-long programme on 17th March, the birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
The UNESCO also announced to celebrate Mujib Borsho jointly with Bangladesh. This announcement of UNESCO paves the way for celebrating Mujib Borsho all over the world. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was born in a respectable Muslim family in the village of Tungipara under the Gopalganj district. He is called Bangabandhu and considered the founding father of Bangladesh. Bangladesh became an independent country under his strong leadership. In fact, Mujib’s ideals and his fiery Voice against oppression can be a role model for the world.
Therefore, the main objective of celebrating Mujib Borsho is to highlight the eventful life and ideals of this great leader before the young generation home and abroad. Obviously, the celebration of Mujib Borsho brings many positive changes for Bangladesh. As a part of the celebration, many development projects have been taken by the Bangladesh Government. These include electrification of all the villages of Bangladesh, poverty alleviation providing ICT facilities to more people, etc.
In Mujib, Borsho steps are taken to establish Bangabandhu sculpture at Madam Tuso Museum and the UN Headquarters in London. Throughout the year many programmes and initiatives are taken by various organizations to celebrate Mujib Barsho focusing on Bangabandhu’s life and works. Thus, the celebration of Mujib Borsha has become a part of history for all freedom-loving people in the world.
