লক্ষ্য কর, 1 live in … happy here বাক্যটি paragraph টির main idea-র সাথে সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ নয়। সুতরাং এটা হল একটি DESTROYER . Paragraph লেখার সময় এ রকম তুটি যেন না ঘটে সেদিকে অবশ্যই খেয়াল রাখতে হবে।
Order of presentation:
Order বলতে বুঝায় একটি paragraph এর মধ্যে sentence-গুলােকে কোটার পর কোন্টা সাজাতে হবে তাই। এই ভুলের কারণে একটি complete paragraph-ও ত্রূটিযুক্ত হয়ে পড়ে। এই ভুল এড়ানাের জন্য idea development-এর সময়ই চিহ্নিত করে রাখতে হয় কোন্ বাক্যটির পর কোন্ বাক্যটি লিখতে হবে। নইলে একবার লেখা শুরু করলে এ ভুল আর না-ও শােধরানাে যেতে পারে।
Sentence-এর orderly movement-এর নিশ্চয়তা বিধান করার জন্য Time ও Space এর order এর প্রতি বিশেষ নজর দিতে হয়। আবার main idea-র উপস্থাপনের ক্ষেত্রে Particular to General কিংবা General to Particular-এর যে-কোন approach-ই সুবিধামত গ্রহণ করা যায়।
Coherence:
এ কোন paragraph এ unity, completeness এবং order সঠিক হলেও একমাত্র coherence-এর অভাবের কারণে তা একটি দুর্বল writing-এ পরিণত হয়। সুতরাং coherence হল paragraph এর সর্বাধিক গুরুত্বপূর্ণ উপাদান। Coherence বলতে বুঝায় paragraph এর একটি বাক্য কিভাবে অন্য বাক্যের সাথে অর্থের দিক থেকে মসৃনভাবে সঙ্গতিপূর্ণ হয়েছে তাই।
